The University of Vellore Institute of Technology is a private university-level institute in Tamil Nadu, India. In the year 2020, the University of Vellore Institute Of Technology received an 'A' rating with a score of 3.42. Vellore Engineering College was granted university status by the Union Ministry of Human Resources Development in 2001.

Admissions

VIT Business School (VITBS), established in September 1994, is in its Silver Jubilee Year. They have campuses at Vellore, Chennai and Bhopal. The VIT Business School works to create thought-leaders who are creative, socially conscious, morally upright, and internationally competent. Undergraduate (BBA), graduate (MBA), and doctoral (Ph. D.) business programmes are all offered by VITBS. The courses are made to inject profound insights and solid business concepts into practise, actively engaging with foreign universities and industry, and impacting practise. VITBS celebrates diversity on its campuses by having faculty and students from all across India as well as from abroad. Students who are studying abroad are from Asia, Africa, and Europe. For Overseas Experiential Learning (OLEP), Adjunct Faculty, and Foreign Degree on Credit Transfer Mode, the institution works with foreign universities. The industrial collaboration includes projects, internships, projects, and placements in addition to research and consulting.
