Aiming to bring about change and progress through education, the Tmt.Kannammal Educational Trust was constituted in 1985 and started Thai Moogambigai Polytechnic College. Within three years of its inception, Dr. M.G.R. Engineering College was founded in 1988, and the Thai Moogambigai Dental College was started in the year 1991. Both the colleges acquired Deemed University status in 2003 as Dr. M.G.R. Educational and Research Institute as per the orders of the University Grants Commission, New Delhi and the Union Ministry of Human Resources and Development, Government of India, New Delhi.
Dr. M.G.R. Educational and Research Institute is a forerunner in the field of recognized institutions, setting high educational standards, providing interesting opportunities, and providing great placement. The University has launched an initiative for its students in order to maintain its national image in the educational arena. Steps to take online admission/registration at Dr. M.G.R. EDUCATIONAL AND RESEARCH INSTITUTE
Step 1: Visit the official website of dr. M.G.R. educational and research institute, and get yourself registered by clicking on the new registration tab available. Fill in the required details like Applicant’s name, email address, and mobile number.
Step 2: Moving forward to the second step, the candidate should fill the academic details, employer, payment and in last need to submit the required documents.
Step 3: After completing the application form and the students would be provided with reference numbers initially and would be guided by the provisional admission policy as mentioned below.
Note: Along with study materials and login information for the learning management system, the students will also receive an acknowledgement letter with a reference number, and the enrollment number will be sent to their registered email address. This would depend on the university account clearing the associated fees. The mandatory documents and online fees receipt can be submitted online by email to the university counsellor.
The candidate should have passed 10+2, HSC for or ICSE or equivalent for UG courses. The candidate should possess a Bachler degree for PG courses.
